The IP Academy Knowledge Centre is a specialized information and knowledge resource centre that focuses on intellectual property (IP).
It is designed to support the information and research needs of IP professionals, businesses, law firms, researchers and policy makers. The Knowledge Centre was established as part of IP Academy’s aim to becoming a leading resource in the region for the development of knowledge and capabilities in the protection, exploitation and management of IP.
Our Collection
The IP Academy Knowledge Centre’s collection covers all aspects of IP law, across various jurisdictions. The print resources include key texts, periodicals, reference materials, primary legislation and case reports.
It has also developed holdings in special areas relating to IP, such as: information technology, economics, trade, traditional knowledge, folklore, plant varieties, biotechnology and competition law.

The IP Academy Knowledge Centre provides a full range of services including:

Electronic Resources
In addition to the print resources, IP Academy Knowledge Centre users are also able to access a variety of electronic resources free of charge. These include local and international databases covering the following areas: news, journals, legal information (legislation & cases), patent search and analysis, and product development.

Membership
IP Academy Knowledge Centre offers individual and corporate membership packages. Members are entitled access to a comprehensive range of print and online resources as well as information services to cater to your research needs.
Other privileges include discounts on IP Academy events and publications.
